3CR12® is the premier utility stainless steel in the United States and around the world. It provides the benefits of traditional stainless steel such as strength, corrosion and abrasion resistance, durability and low maintenance. 3CR12® is useful in a wide variety of applications. In addition, it is able to provide benefits such as good weldability and formability, making it capable of fabrication by conventional techniques.

Specifications
3CR12® conforms to the European grade for the stainless steel type 1.4003, included in specification EN 10088, which covers stainless steel flat and long products. It is also included in the specification prEN 10028-7 for stainless steels suitable for pressure purposes, which includes minimum specified impact values. 3CR12® is also certified to ASTM A240, UNS S41003. Product Range
Material is available in hot and cold rolled sheet and plate in a range of widths and thicknesses. A choice of surface finish is also available. Welded tube and pipe is also available. Other fabricated products including expanded metal and perforated plate can be supplied by specialist contractors. Available Material Sizes: Cold rolled sheet and coil is available, in a #2B Finish, in thicknesses from .8mm (22ga) through 2.5mm (12ga.). Hot rolled plate, #1 Finish, is available in 3mm (11ga) through 25mm (1"). Hot rolled coil is available in 3mm (11ga) through 6.35mm (1/4").
