3CR12® - The Next Generation Stainless

3CR12® was developed to provide a superior alternative to coated carbon steels and other materials which have poor corrosive / abrasive resistance. It is also an economical substitute for conventional stainless steels where corrosive conditions do not justify higher alloy contents. It has been extremely successful in displacing conventional stainless steel, coated carbon steel, HSLA steel and aluminum. In every case, 3CR12® can demonstrate a realistic performance or economical advantage, often both.
Where 3CR12® is Used:
*Bus & Coach Building - Frames, chassis, steps, wheel arches, handrails,
firewalls,etc.
*Truck Building - Bodies, containers, tanks, frames,
battery boxes, hoppers, sweepers, chassis.
*Railcars - Freight, coal cars, tanks, hoppers,
passenger rail, structures and frames, panels and
doors, floors, cabinets and enclosures.
*Materials Handling- [Predominately wet material handling] Including: Coal Bins and
chutes, conveyor systems, hoppers, scrapers, decking, skips, separators, screens.
*Sugar Production- Wheels, troughs, flumes, weirs, stone catchers, decks, floors,
flights, hoppers, diffuser linings, bulkheads, cane knives
and beet slicers, juice wells, feed tables, and conveyors.
*Agriculture- Silos, chutes, wet produce handling, cattle trucks, drinking troughs,
feeders, fertilizer tanks, kilns, manure spreaders, machine housings.
