A quenched & tempered steel that provides a hardness range of 420-480 BHN and is available up to 2-1/2” in thickness. Its low alloy content allows the material to be readily weldable, formable, and machineable relative to the high hardness. Applications are for impact and sliding abrasion including, but not limited to: crushers, feeders, conveyors, buckets, dump trucks, loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or any application where the higher hardness can be utilized.
