AR medium, sometimes referred as AR200, AR225, AR235 is an as-rolled medium carbon, manganese steel with a hardness range of 190-250 BHN. Applications for this material are where the hardness can be utilized for increased wear life or reduced thickness vs. regular carbon steel.
