A quenched & tempered alloy steel that provides advantages compared to regular carbon steels. 100,000 psi yield strength through 2-1/2” in thickness, 90,000 psi yield strength through 6” in thickness. These strength levels provide about 3 times that of structural carbon steel, weldability and good toughness at low atmospheric temperatures. This material is designed for a wide variety of structural uses such as construction equipment, mining equipment, hauling equipment, lifting equipment, and any other applications where the strength can be utilized to reduce weight.
