Summer Intern Project

“For my summer project, I developed a platform and plan to support the creation and growth of an integrated Flawless Execution Training Plan for every position at the Olympic Steel Chambersburg Division. I focused on the Chambersburg Division ISO documented Training Plan, WI:622.0 Training, and on integrating employees at Olympic Steel to understand the current process. I also, at a high level, built a team constructed model that identifies and visualizes the Critical Inputs needed to achieve the desired Output – Flawless Execution. I organized the QMS ISO documentation and indexed it onto OSSIE to make it available to all employees. I built a team and conquered the Quality module portion of the Flawless Execution Training Plan so each employee can effectively understand their roles and responsibilities as Olympians, to ensure compliance to the ISO 9001-2015 standard. Ultimately, this plan will hopefully lead to better leadership and planning at Olympic Steel while improving customer satisfaction in our quest to achieve Flawless Execution.”
