Position Functions
Directs the efforts of the warehouse operations staff, including equipment operators, material handlers, packing line personnel, to ensure all work is coordinated and a minimum downtime occurs. Review daily personnel needs and recommends overtime or a reduction in hours is necessary. Works closely with the Inside Sales Department and the Production coordinator to determine machine scheduling based on customer delivery dates, material availability, processing requirements and logical methods of distribution. Knowledge of die maintenance, stamping press operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years experience in a steel services center or other related environment required Prior plant and staff management experience required
• Knowledge of operations efficiency and division equipment a plus
• Precise math and use of precision instruments skills
• Ability to inspect material for Quality conformance
• Experience in Office Administration with the ability to manage/supervise personnel
