The Production Planning Associate is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the daily production schedule. Completes duties daily such as, entering ET.s, processing filing, setting up spreadsheets, filing certs, and other administrative inventory and production functions. Keeps employees and other departments informed when there is an issue affecting workflow to ensure good communication and awareness as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree or commensurate experience with Olympic Steel required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong computer and organizational skills, good communication and ability to work closely with all departments within the company
- Sound decision making skills and ability to work with limited supervision
