The North Carolina Division has an immediate opening for a Fabrication Sales Manager – reporting directly to the Eastern Region Sales Manager. This position will be working out of the Siler City, NC, facility.
Responsibilities
Assists senior management in the development and execution of national sales and marketing strategy for fabricated parts. Serves as the product and marketing knowledge expert for the sales team across the region. Manages all aspects of the customer inquiry, purchasing, inventory, processing, pricing and sales of these products region wide. Accompany sales professionals on client calls in support of the specific product line to educate and share product knowledge. Directly guides inside and outside sales professionals across the region regarding account management and the sale of these products. Manages an individual portfolio of specialty accounts and conducts regular sales calls and supplier visits as needed, meeting or exceeding predetermined goals. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase sales volume. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Responsible for developing and prospecting product leads for the sales staff. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures and is responsible for supporting smooth execution region-wide.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in related field required. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years sales experience, with at least 3 years specializing in specialty product.
- Requires comprehensive process knowledge of laser, plasma & oxy-fuel cutting, shotblasting and welding.
- General process knowledge of forming, punching & machining
- Overall understanding of customer manufacturing processes through painting.
- Prior management experience, directly or indirectly leading diverse sales professionals across geographic areas required.
- 3+ years new business development with strong customer service skills required.
- Strong computer and organizational skills with the ability to ensure accuracy and data integrity required.
- Ability to provide vision and leadership, make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgement.
- Superior oral/written communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in all situations.
- Demonstrates superior group presentation skills and conducts productive meetings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with capability to interface and maintain effective relationships in a team-oriented environment.
