The North Carolina Division has an outstanding opportunity for a career-oriented individual interested in Quality Assurance Management.

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing the quality assurance function at the division level as outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual and Corporate Quality Mission Statement. This position is responsible for the implementation of the quality program internally and interfacing with suppliers and customers on quality issues. Acts as the Management Representative for Quality reporting purposes. The Quality Assurance Manager maintains a high level of interaction with Sales, Purchasing and Operations departments. Also responsible for corrective actions, development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP), and maintaining the quality program to be in compliance with ISO 9000:2001.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years applicable quality management experience in industrial manufacturing or commensurate Olympic experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Industrial Management is highly desired
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and other related quality processes such as ISO and QS9000 required
• Knowledge of inventory management, materials production and quality control is a plus Skilled in examining and re-engineering operations, procedures and assisting with the development of new initiatives
• Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and planning skills
• Must have the ability to supervise and train assigned task with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency is Microsoft Office required
