North Carolina supplies the market's leading manufacturers of construction equipment and armored vehicles. The products supplied range from highly complex weld assemblies, including armored vehicle kits and weldments, to parts for logging and extendable trailers, waste recycling baler components and fabricated off-road construction products, and heavy construction beam welding. The location offers CNC Plasma/Oxyfuel burning, laser burning, robotic and manual welding, forming and CNC machining, as well as final assembly and painting services (including CARC).
The satellite operation in South Carolina provides welding and assembly operations. In addition to offering full service fabrication and assembly operations, North Carolina also works closely with key customers in the design and prototype development stages of new products. This division is ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 certified demonstrating Olympics Steel's commitment to quality and the environment.
