Accident Occurs at Olympic Steel's Cleveland Facility
Cleveland, Ohio (July 10, 2000) - Olympic Steel, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZEUS) announced that Jerry Presley, an employee of its Cleveland Division, died after suffering injuries July 8 in an in-plant accident. The employee was seriously injured while performing his duties as a crane operator. OSHA was contacted by the Company and the accident is currently under review. The Company deeply regrets this tragedy and expresses its sorrow to the family of Mr. Presley.
