Wolfort Named President at Olympic Steel
CLEVELAND, Ohio — (February 2, 2001) The Board of Directors of Olympic Steel, Inc. (ZEUS-NASDAQ) has elected David A. Wolfort as President of Olympic Steel, Inc., succeeding Michael D. Siegal who will remain Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wolfort continues to serve as a Director and Chief Operating Officer, positions he has held since 1995.

Wolfort, 48, joined Olympic Steel in 1984 and served as Vice President – Commercial of the Company from 1987 to 1995.
A resident of Moreland Hills, Ohio, Wolfort is Chairman of the Steel Service Center Institute (SSCI) PAC, serves as Past Chairman of SSCI’s Government Affairs committee, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Cotillion Society of Cleveland, and a Regional Board Member of the Northern Ohio Anti-Defamation League.
He is a graduate of Ohio University and previously served in various sales capacities with the former Sharon Steel Corporation.
