Summer Intern Project
Sales Intern – Olympic Steel, Cleveland, OH
“My project centered on helping Olympic Steel explore new industries outside of our usual markets. I researched potential customers across the country and created an “Industry Playbook” for each sales representative that reports to the Cleveland division—a set of one-pagers that highlight prospective accounts and other helpful information by region. The goal was to shift away from more cyclical sectors and give the team a helpful tool to start conversations in new spaces. I’m proud of how the playbook turned out, and I hope it serves as a starting point for expanding into more diverse markets and increasing opportunities for the company.”
