Summer Intern Project
Engineering Intern – Olympic Steel, Bartlett, IL
“This summer, I helped the team work toward getting the right drill and tap machine. I sat in on equipment demos, learned what questions to ask, and dug into what makes one machine a better fit than another. One of the first demos couldn’t handle the parts we brought, which turned out to be a great learning moment since it helped us figure out exactly what we needed. I’m proud of how much I learned along the way, and I know that once the right machine is in place, it’ll help Bartlett take on more jobs and expand their in-house capabilities.”
