“My project focused on standardizing and documenting processes across departments at the Minneapolis Division. I worked with managers and employees to understand how work is completed, then created process maps, flowcharts and step-by-step visual instructions that are easy to follow. Collaborating with people across several departments taught me how to come prepared, ask the right questions and turn their knowledge into practical resources. Seeing the documents begin to be used was one of the most rewarding parts of the project. These resources will help improve consistency, support employee training and make important process knowledge easier to share. The experience also showed me how valuable strong communication is when turning an idea into something people can use.”
