“My project focused on building the foundation for Limble, a new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). I consolidated and standardized maintenance information, organized 17 major assets and more than 2,000 parts, updated vendor information, built preventive maintenance schedules and designed purchase-order and training processes. I also reviewed open work orders, helping reduce them by 35%, and created a dashboard that gives leadership a clearer view of maintenance performance. Bringing information from several sources into one usable structure required close collaboration with maintenance, operations and leadership. I’m most proud that the system will continue creating value after my internship by helping the team find parts faster, plan maintenance more effectively, reduce downtime and take a more proactive approach to maintenance.”
